Please post a tutorial of how you did this. I've been scouring the net for weeks trying to find a really comprehensive gradient mesh tutorial. Most of them deal with organic shaps like faces.

I'd love to know how you got those concentric circles at the top of the compass!

It would definitely be a very popular tutorial since most out there are relatively pants in terms of advanced mash work like this.
