ARCHIVE 158: ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DANCE TO SAVE THE WORLD
- June 30, 2008 8:11 PM
- MUSIC
![]()
This is the brand-new style of dance club. Yeah, I could tell that usually normal "party people (especially spiritual headz)" are very interested in being (or just pretending) a Eco person indeed. So there should be a good synergy between Eco and the venue of parties. Very simple.

But you know, Japanese are still thinking about Eco is something like just kinda fashion or just something cool, seriously. This is a deep cultural lag.
But same time, somehow we are aware that we have to start something for the earth from just right now.
We have to build own solutions by ourselves. I respect you Dr. Earth! ;-)

ARCHIVE 156: MOOG DEBUTS MOOG GUITAR!
- June 12, 2008 8:15 PM
- MUSIC
Very characteristic and beautiful sounds... But how do you think about the design? It's simple and...yeah, not bad. But I dunno why I can't say that it's prefect... unfortunately. Expected too much, I think.
The Moog Guitar - Paul Vo Collector Edition: $6,495.00

ARCHIVE 155: JING PROJECT
- June 8, 2008 8:18 PM
- WEBSITE
The concept of Jing is the always-ready program that instantly captures and shares images and video...from your computer to anywhere.
This's a very useful program. Yeah, of course there are a lot of capturing program else, but the concept "always-ready (always standing-by at the right-top corner of desktop)" is very characteristic.

ARCHIVE 154: BIG IDEAS (DON'T GET ANY)
- June 7, 2008 8:23 PM
- MUSIC
Radiohead held an online contest to remix "Nude" from their 10th album - "In Rainbows" This was quite a difficult task for all the electronic musicians that entered, as Nude is in 6/8 timing, and 63bpm. Most music that's played in clubs is around 120bpm and usually 4/4 timing. It's near impossible to mix a waltz beat into a DJ set.
This resulted in lots of generic entries consisting of a typical 4/4 beat, but with arbitrary clips from "Nude" thrown in so that they qualified for the contest.
Thom Yorke joked at the ridiculousness of it in an interview for NPR radio, hinting that they set the competition "for a laugh" and to find out what would come out of such an impossible task.
I decided to take the piss a bit, as the contest seemed to be in that spirit.
Based on the lyric (and alternate title) "Big Ideas: Don't get any" I grouped together a collection of old redundant hardware, and placed them in a situation where they're trying their best to do something that they're not exactly designed to do, and not quite getting there.
It doesn't sound great, as it's not supposed to.

ARCHIVE 153: A WEEKEND TRIP TO FUKUI 2
- June 2, 2008 8:27 PM
- NOTE
![]()
OMG it was an unbelievably crazy trip...
Just one day before, I and my friend had decided to go to Fukui to see the Kireek's gig.
And actually I have a lot of old friends there, so I really wanted to meet them again too.
We ride on Dj Hi-C's car, and had arrived there around 5 PM on Saturday. We were enjoying the party till really late night...
Any foreigners don't know about Fukui at all, I guess. Actually even Japanese don't know so much either. But in fact, there is a really deep and real music culture!
Guess what, both Dj Akakabe (2002 DMC world battle champion) and Dj Yasa (2007 DMC world team champion) came from same hometown, Fukui!
Can you believe that such a tiny town has produced two world champions!
And even Techno, Rock, House, Break Dance, etc etc... those genres' level are very high too. A guy who got the second place of some big break dance world championship is from Fukui.
You know Richie Hawtin's recent Japan tour was in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Fukui!! lol
Anyway, there are even many kinda delicious locol foods, for example Echizen-crab, Echizen-Soba, the world famous Koshihikari-rice, and so on.
If you have a chance to come to Japan, you'd better to come to Fukui!
Big up all homies there!
