I'm a big fan of him since the Bjork's music video. He used to be a commercial director (I dunno he's still doing that), and even those commercial films are very amazing too! Check 'em out!

00cover.jpg

This Web site is designed to provide information on the resources and services of the International Dada Archive at the University of Iowa Libraries. It is the gateway to the International Online Bibliography of Dada. As the site is developed, it will also become a resource for additional information about the historic Dada movement and the individual Dada writers and artists, as well as links to other Internet resources.
At a campus festival when I was an art student, we opened a Tacos bar called "Cavalet Voltaire". I named it and of course the name came from the cavalet which was opened by Hugo. I was really into the ideas of Dada, at that time.
I've just found this website. This is a very valuable archive. Enjoy!

siddallsudaspotinosaka.jpg

It was completely not easy to me though! :S
The order to boot, sensitive settings, strength of the wave... I had to care and notice about a lot of things, actually.
Of course one of the reasons is I'm using a Mac. (But you know how we do, Mac users are tough. Because we've already gave up especially about network settings. lol)
Anyway, I at last could become a Fonera!
Can you find the name "siddallsuda" on the map above? That's my spot. ;)

fonipodtouchnew.jpgAnd I've finished connecting to the Fon networks by my iPod Touch too. I've not checked on the street yet, but must be okay, I guess. I hope.
Well, thank you so much for your kind comment, Mr. Martin Varsavsky!
Your Japanese staff was amazing. Very helpful and kind. Thank you again!
And I found this video on his blog. You know, this is his son! Sooo cute.
He must be one of the important person in the network industries when he grow up. ;-)
¡Bueno adiós!

ARCHIVE 109: ONE HELICOPTER AND 460 POLICE CARS CHASED A FUGITIVE IN OSAKA TODAY

otorimonoosaka.jpg

This kind of happening is very uncommon in Japan.
2,200 polices had been chasing the guy (27 year old) for two hours around noon at the center of Osaka city.
One helicopter and 460 police cars were dispatched for only him, and he stealed 3 cars on the way to escape.
At last, his car had a collision with a bridge girder and stopped.
During the car chasing, he was getting a handcuff with his right arm. To my surprise, after he had been caught, still was attacking on the policies with head-butting. lol

This happening reminds me the website called Varaces The Car Chase Movie Database.

varaces.jpg

You got a fast car / I want a ticket to anywhere / Maybe we make a deal / Maybe together we can get somewhere
Anyplace is better / Starting from zero got nothing to lose / Maybe we'll make something / But me myself I got nothing to prove

This song was running around my brain, whole the time of writing this!!
Whatever, there are a lot of "SPEED" freaks in Japan, basically.
This driver called Smoky Nagata is kinda famous in Japanese speeding scene. Here we go!!

"Smoky vs U. K. police"!

ARCHIVE 108: NATIVE INSTRUMENTS RULES!

beatport3d.jpg
Beatport has started to support some other languages, recently. Includes French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
And just lately, Native Instruments has released a free DJ mixing software.
Let me say once more again, this software is FREE! Can you believe it?

beatportsync.jpg
Beatport SYNC lets you instantly mix tracks by drag and drop. Simply load your tracks into the playback decks and use the crossfader to mix between them. Advanced functions like beat detection, auto sync, and loudness optimization let you create professional-sounding mixes immediately. With Beatport SYNC, anyone can be a DJ.
I've not tried yet but must be so nice, innit? What is the most different part of Beatport Sync and Traktor?
Anyway, Native Instruments is one of the most important companies around the digital music industries.

ARCHIVE 107: WIFI NOWHERE!!

fonmap.jpg

fonstop.jpgI got a FON's "La Fonera+" WiFi spot, at last!
I really interested in this project for long time, but it wasn't necessary at all because my PowerBook was too heavy to bring out.
But recently, I got an iPod Touch and this funky toy made me decide to join FON networks!
I'd really expected the brand-new-happy life with this WiFi networks... buT! bUT! BUT! I couldn't complete to connect it to my Yahoo rooter!! Bullshit!
The manual says like "Connect the cable and the power plug, and just wait for a couple of minutes. Sooner or later, the orange power lamp is gonna be green."
Am I color blind? I'd waited for a couple of DAYS, but I could see only the color ORANGE!! I was really disappointed... WiFi NOWHERE... ;-(
Well, now I'm asking to FON about this condition by email.
Someone said that to be used by FON network is not accepted by Yahoo, formally. I don't know the problem depends on that or not. But if it's so, I'm really sad...
Look at this map! We can say that many persons feel sympathy for this project, obviously.
Listen to us, Mr. Yahoo, We don't need no more monopolization!
But I still don't know the cause of the problem. If it's just my mistake for example connecting to wrong port or something like that, I know that I really have to apologize to Yahoo... lol
Anyway it's true that Yahoo hasn't recognized FON, though.
Whatever, cross your fingers for my brilliant-cyber life, please! :-)
