The movie is about love, art and supermarket co-workers and shows an interesting view of time and time stopping. The most obvious art in the movie might be the one of drawing, capturing beauty, but the red thread in the story is the path between one lost relation and the passionate flames of new love and the feelings it conquers.
Yesterday, I and my friends from Tokyo went to watch the movie "Cashback" to Osaka European Film Festival 2007. Actually, one of those friends is a friend of the director Sean Ellis, so we could enter free! Thank you Sean and James! :-)
The movie was so funny and beautiful in same time. And what the amazing story it was!
I totally could understand Ben's sad feeling that comes after losing own sweetheart... Bottomless, hopeless, and endless. Everyone has this kinda experiences, I guess. If you don't have no experience like this, you would learn how much pain they get, by your own decisions. hehe...
Whatever, this movie will come to Japan next year, at last. I'm gonna watch again! 'Nuff respect, Sean!
