  • MUSIC | WEBSITE

Okay, I introduce these three awesome websites today. Recently, I've not been buying any CDs and music datas at all, but I'm downloading a lot of mixes, instead. Almost those mixes were recorded in clubs, or by (internet) radio programs for example BBC - Radio1's "essential mix" and Kiss100's ones from London or something like those from the whole world.
Well, so it's really easy to get those high quality mixes for FREE, of course.
This fact is gonna totally change your music life, I guess, like me.
Actually, there are many other websites like these below, so let me know if you know others.

This is my most favorite downloaing site lately. Must listen the Josh Wink's one. Minimal!
Notice : If you have any problems with downloading - try Firefox.

And you know Beatport has been planning to sell mixes, but that is deferred until now for long time. I think this plan has broken down already...

"Send real letter messages tather than just a greeting card.
Buy letters and create words to display around your home."
I got these letters at last! I ordered these at the website about 2 weeks ago.
These were a little smaller than my image, though.
Well, how can I use these ones for? lol
Actually I have no idea, please gimmi some ideas for that!

I'm still going to the scratching school by DJ Yasa on every Monday.
Yesterday, Yasa taught two of drumming patterns to me. Whatever, this entry is just kind a memo for myself. I know that I am a selfish man.

This drumming sounds so cool. Yasa said Mixmaster Mike plays this kinda drumming a lot.

This drumming is very simple, but nice and smooth. I luv it.

I designed the cover of "Joho-Dai-Bakuhatsu (Digital Big Bang)" and also over 250 pages of presentation slides of this book.
This book was written by Mr. Ryuhei Akiyama, who is the boss of my division named "Interactive Communication Division". This book is about his future-vision of digital information industry, basically.
Anyway, this was very interesting book, so I could enjoy myself doing this job.
At last, it's started to sell in stores today. Read this and let me know your opinion about it, please.

My man Ah-Oh-Chang had stayed at my home for a couple of day. He is one of the really really interesting persons around me. This time, guess what, he came from Tokyo to Osaka by a very old bicycle! And he reached the top of Mr. Fuji on the way of this trip. And and... oh, I have too much a lot of things about him that I really wanna tell someone! (ex. He went to Australia and rode a bicycle for over 10,000km long! etc etc...)
Still, His trip is not finished yet. He's gonna go to Kyoto, Hyogo... and the goal is his own town Shimane. RUN AH-OH-CHANG, RUN!
I totally respect you. Big up!

I went to meet my friends to fukui, last weekend.
I met many many old friends, went to a club together, drunk too much, and ate a lot of unbelievably yummy food. I was totally enjoying this time again.

And at last, I could take some photos of the yummiest Soba shop in Japan! I really really recommend this shop called "Shuku-nuno-ya". If you have a chance to go to Fukui, you really have to eat this Soba, seriously. It's a miracle. Let me take you down, 'cus I'm going to Soba paradise... WANNA GO AGAIN RIGHT NOW! X-(

So lovely! I really wanna get one. Anyway, Afghan children have an infinity imagination, aren't they?
Only the right bottom one has special background, but it's too hard to me to find the speciality of that doll. I think I lost something important with the city life.
And I love these photos, seriously. Cheap lighting, kitsch background color gradation (these remind me the Adobe Illustrator's preset gradation patterns those I've never used), but exact masking. Good job dude! :-)

ARCHIVE 078: A NIGHTMARE OF THE JAPANESE GRAND PRIX

  • Posted by: THUGLIFE

  • NOTE

ffff11111.jpg
It was a nightmare.
I went to Shizuoka last week, by my business trip. There was "Fuji Speedway" circuit close to the place I went (about 1 hour). At that time, fortunately the Japanese Grand Prix of the Formula One had been holding at the circuit.
On the second day of the business trip, I could take a time, so decided to try to watch the race.
I didn't have any tickets though, but I guessed it was possible to get the ticket at the entrance or from someone there.
First, that guessing was the trigger of the nightmare, but I didn't know that still right that time...
I took trains and a taxi to the circuit.
Just after arriving there, I totally regretted.
It was unbelievably COLD! I was the only one person who was wearing only T-Shirts at the place. And I guessed that there are some shops or restaurants of course, but nothing I could find. Nothing but the big busses and people at all. I was so fxxxin' starving and pouched!!
Yeah, you know that I couldn't get any tickets, food and drink. But, at last, I found a place there I could peep the race.
I shoot the photo from there.
But it was a deep deep foggy day, so I could see only the tail lamp of those machines...
Can you believe that? Well, I couldn't. :-(
And then, after I went back to home with lost heart, those busses were stopped by some accidents (sinking road), I heard. By that accidents, many many persons had to wait for about 5 hours in the cold rain.
In the end, it was the worst race in the long Formula One history I've ever seen...
Hey Toyota! Gimmi back the precious day off for me!

He's so funny. I've never seen before this kinda TV program in Japan. Well, it's totally impossible to broadcast this kinda cheating-celebrity programs, because of those Japanese celebrities are having a big power in this culture. To be exact, the talent management companies rule everything around advertising and entertainment industries. The power balance has pretty collapsed.
Let me say something, we wanna watch what we wanna watch! Fight the power that be! Stand up for your right!! Raise your hands together, brothers and sisters!!!
...well, what the fxxk am I talking about??? In fact, I just don't give a fxxk about this kinda gossips. :-P
